What made you get into snowsports?

Living in Norway when I was young I started cross country skiing but soon found a need for speed and converted to alpine skiing and racing. I trained and competed for many years before getting into coaching and have made many lifelong friends over the years all because of skiing.

Generally Austria, but I have a soft spot for Tignes, France, having been there so much over the years for training camps, competitions and holidays.

Never eat yellow snow! In all seriousness never skimp on your ski boots - a well fitted boot will make a huge difference to comfort and performance.

Depends where I am!  Hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream at the Lecht, a macaroni pie at Glenshee, a crepe in France or a germknodel (shared) in Austria!
